Despite everything that happened, there's no way for me to say how much fun I actually had against these guys. It's the kind of spanking that makes you realize "Oh, it's just a game!"
We started off rd1 with 6 people... apparently all of them O players. With about 4 seconds left, and nobody dropping, I took it into my own hands to leave. Meanwhile, everyone else thinks I'm still in there. Our coordination turns into spaghetti noodles, and FwA lets loose :)
After seeing the 20 cap deficit from rd1, I beg Ken to let me play Defense and have some fun... so he does... and look at what an impact I had! :P
Luckily, one of our 3 D guys lagged out for 25 minutes of the 30 minute round (no joke... dial-up sucks) :( So we ended up with 2 guys in the FR just shooting stuff and having a good time. Why is this lucky, you ask? Because now I have something to blame our loss on... we only had 2 D, and if we had had 3, the scores would be much, much, MUCH different :)
Fortunately, considering I play demo about once a year on average, I walked away with some pretty cool blue shots, as well as some dets that I never thought I had good enough reflexes to make.
As long as I remember not to look at the score while I watch my demos, I'll be happy.
Very fun game FwA, though I'm sure some of the rest of our guys would beg to differe. Now get to 1a where you belong, and stop ruining our winning streaks plz :P
