IOD over a
Prematch: I was freaking out because when I went into the iod room at 5:45, no one was there. Apparently irc was freaking out as well, and there were in fact people there who could play. I was worried I'd have to go 1vs5!
Round 1: Thanks to some powerhouse offense ala Schtoofa and BR, IOD came out strong and stayed strong. Defense held its own for a bit until `a went heavier classes, and made a mid-game come back. Unfortunately `a's offense lagged out and was MIA for the last few minutes.
200-110
Round 2: This match was pretty dang fun! It was neck and neck for most of it, with team IOD just ahead by a few points. I felt exceptionally lame when I and the rest of defense held our flag on their side of the map for a lot longer than we should have. I also besmudged the child in me by repeatedly spamming the flag from resupply. Shame on me! Ant joined up with Schtoofa to continue the cap-o-rama, and all I could hear on offense was Schtoofa yelling at Ant to get the flag because he just cleared the whole defense.
Nice work B + BR on D this round.
110-70
`a, it was a pleasure to play against you guys. You played a very fun and clean match, and I hope to rematch you guys soon.
