Round 1- Our server, that was apparently so amazing that they wanted to play both rounds on it. Well, they started off the capping, not suprisingly enough Atlas and myself had some problems concing on this amazingly gay and stupid map...honestly...gay...I hate this map...it should die. However, its structure stood up suprisingly well to the vast amount of nades thrown by their defense. Mine and Atlas's summary of their D strat:

Well, our D lets out 5 caps, and Atlas and myself manage to pull out only 4. I blame the map, and its favoritism towards teams that continually prime grenades. I have a theory that their defense's configs look like this:

bind mouse2 "+gren2"
But theories are just theories, so I could be wrong. All this aside, we managed to finish round 1 down by only one cap, and Atlas and myself were a little pissed because well yeah, nades.
Round 2- So after round 1 Atlas and I either have to figure out something new to do, or become immune to nades. We choose something new. We totally ignore the batts for a large part of the round due to a soldier, a tiny hall, 4 frag nades, and a spawn. So anyways, Atlas and myself are running offense happily, but our d still lets them cap first. Atlas yells at them some, and they hold a little better. We manage to pull some caps and keep up with them. Capping stops solid for a while from about 18 mins left til close to like 5 minutes. With a minute left in the round, they are still leading us by 1 cap. Atlas gets an amazing pull, and throws it to me. I get the glory of taking in the tying cap, for the round. Then, Atlas grabs the flag and goes batts to batts for the win! OMG YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS! OVERTIMES!!!!!OMGZORZ!!!!ONE!!!!!111!

Also on our server beacause they wanted it that way. Well, we revise our d strat because they capped first both rounds. We use 2 engies to get the gun up quick, and Atlas pulls the flag to the main room. *****NOTE****I have just been handed a bulletin!!! PR is apparently so amazingly gay that they are going to file a dispute. I'll finish writeup, and save it on my comp to ensure it will be seen by the world. ***/Note*** Anyways, the flag returns but I told atlas to wait for return, he did, and we capped, endgame!!
And PS...
PR you could have just been men and taken the loss, instead you choose to dispute your loss to the top bronze clan, you lose major respect. I actually thought you guys were a good team, apparently I was wrong. Hope your dispute goes to hell.

After bookrat informed me that what happened was disputable in his view we went ahead with it. Both teams playd hard.
Losing in OT is tough, when you realize that the match should never even have went to OT its a tough loss to swallow. We disputed because the information given to us by admins was that we had just cause. We have no wish to waste the admins time with petty crap. We gave them the information and are letting them decide. Either way it goes I had fun and it was good game. You do not loose respect for disputing when you have just cause to do so. You lose respect for starting a flame war.

Whatever, all I see is a little bitch scraping for a way to get a cheap win. If we lost we would have said GG and walked away. But I guess not all teams can have class and respect. Atleast you didn't dispute for DvD, that would have been funny.
Oh yeah, your defense did blow. Grenades only go so far. If you want to know why you really lost, why not talk to your batts soldier about why he left his position wide open to play in the yard. He can't even aim a fucking rocket yet he thought he could do yard D. Not to mention I started exploiting his lousy soldiering late rd2 in order to break your D down for the comeback.
But hey, why look at your own problems when you can be pussies and dispute something pathetic!

Again, with the flames. All you are showing is that you have no respect for the admins judgement or any semblence of class. The issue here is the dispute and nothing else. You trying to slander PR is not getting you anywhere. If you even did look at the post from the STA 5v5 forums you would know why and what we disputed. If an admin told you your clan had a legitmate dispute and you didnt file it, thats on you. But filing the dispute ensured we did all that we could to pull out a win. If the admins rule in your favor so be it. I expect nothing but more flames on your end that will be ignored by most of the community. If they rule in ours I can promise you no one from PR will start slandering aR. That is not our style. Even with all of your flames and harsh remarks we will not bring ourselves down by imitating and proliferating such childish behavior.
Calling people gay, they suck, lousy, newbs, what is the point you prove nothing. Grow up.

Atlas and Free bust balls, in this case- PR's Sure, if you feel like you should dispute, do it. I honestly don't care; but we have our position, you have yours. We don't care about you, we play for the fun of it. Watching you guys get pissy over dick cheese doesn't bother me, don't make it a habbit or you wont last.
We have had some pretty underhanded shit done to us, and had some fun with it. All-in-all, we had fun and told each other so afterwords. Niether team disputed over petty shit.
This match went a different path, we played hard and won. A strong effort was made on both sides- and you guys got mad over dick cheese.
I thought you guys were going after our DvD, wait you think you have a case with OvO, yeah... dick cheese.

I registered for this! Awesome! Don't mind my clanmates, PR, they are WIIILD AND CRAAAAZY GUYYYS. But seriously, I'll put it in nicer terms. The reason my clanmates are so mad, isn't because of the dispute, it's probably really not even about "lol gren1 gren2!" It's about one pivotal thing: When you lost, you automatically decided to dispute. This match could've went either way. It was a very good game. But then the "WAIT, ITS NOT SUDDEN DEATH OT!" convos happen after the match, and it wasted time. It became apparent to use, that you wanted to "win at all costs" even if it was to bring up the OvO issue (that didn't even really exist). Well I hope not, I'm about to watch the HLTV, I'll reply with if there was or not! I'm on the case! Stay tuned for more "Mild-mannered Peregrine" posts!

I just watched half of the demo, I haven't watched Atlas yet, although I seem to recall him grenning a scout because the scout was too near the soldier. I watched Free Shot, I figured he'd be the one disputed with his flag carrier kills. I may be biased, but looking at offense doesn't count as shooting them. But I digress, one flag carrier kill is a post-mordem nade, apparently, one of the PR offense didn't realize there was an ele to the battlements, so they would run through the base to the cap. Free died next to a gun, and had a nade primed. The scout died. The second flag carrier kill was probably the disputable one, since Free killed him, and when does he get kills?! Even if this ONE incident was considered "omg OvO omg OvO" It was just ONE incident (it wasnt like he "ambushed" the offense or anything, either). Again, it seems as if "Hey remember that one time that he shot at us? Yeah? Let's dispute that!" In my opinion, there should be a rule against saying "LOL THERES NO SUDDEN DEATH OT, WAIT YES THERE IS!" We could even call it SvS -- "Stupid vs. Smart." That might've been slightly cold, I'm sorry. I'm supposed to be the mild-mannered one after all.

I'm not siding with no one, nor "slandering" anyone or anything of that nature I just wanna make 1 comment. This past week x7 had a title shot match against ED - we lost by 1 cap and I came out of that match feeling soooooo friggin happy and proud, we did our best we went cap for cap blow for blow against them and both teams played one HELL of a game. I don't think your ever going to find a match that flawlessly obeys the rules, there is always going to be something that happens that is "disputable" its all about the degree of how disputable something is. - the only thing I'm saying and I'm not ADDRESSING anyone so PR don't like take it personal or nothing, just trying to share personal experience. The only thing I'm saying is, if you come out of a very close match and lose by a very small margin, you should be proud of yourself - you gave the other guys a run for their money. I don't know if you guys are right or wrong in your dispute but I'm sorry to say that it does look like the bronze community has lost immense amounts of respect for you - which makes me feel bad because I'm sure you guys are a good team that don't deserve to have your name dragged through the mud.
Another thing is I think you guys chose too early a point in your league career to dispute. I mean - distinguish yourselves first, make a name for yourselves. People will take you a hell of alot more seriously if you dispute after you've distinguished yourself.
Again, I'm not taking any sides, just offering my personal point of view, let the dispute admin handle it. I'm sure the right decision will be rendered.
