SIN over Ak
Round 1: We didn't actually get into the server until 9:25 EST to practice. We set up a quick strat that didn't work really well in the 5 minutes we had, but hoped for the best. Heading into ak's server, everyone pinged noticeably higher, which wasn't good news for our concing or detting. With bottle being on vacation this week, cal had to run offense with akira. SIN jumps out to an early lead but ak came back strong and pulled ahead by one cap to win the round. ak 80 - 70
Round 2: Heading back to the SIN server for rd2 ION had to depart so we mixed up the defense a bit. We brought in retired SINner Ripster to replace ION, then moved Cal to defense and Econ to offense. Trying to scare ak a bit, aff changed his name to ?Destro? and Econ changed his name to ?bottle.? But in the end, the match came down to the person on defense that we shall now call ?The Factor? aka Cal. SIN has not yet lost a round in 5v5 in which cal plays defense. The funniest moment of the match came when Econ started yelling into Teamspeak ?Akira! I got the Flag! I got the Flag!? like a teenage girl that just made the frosh cheerleading team. (thank you cal for pointing that out?) SIN takes the round, the match, and the 5v5 gold title. SIN 50 - 30
