xD over iE

VGG iE!! We were expecting to get a butt-kicking, considering how badly we were beat down the last time we met. And, true to expectations iE played a very tough match. But somehow we managed to pull out a few more caps in round 1, thanks to the magic of Nat and Fade. In round 2, Nat had to go caper around in his tutu, so we asked Pohl to play offense - something he hasn't done in over a year, possibly years, depending on who you ask. Pohl (even in the midst of somewhat-recovery from his periodic seizures of insanity) & Fade (even in the midst of "studying" for his ASSWIPE tests for the military) managed to pull out three more caps in round two, to tie that round with iE. The extra caps in round one proved to be decisive.

With a tenacious defense manned by all-stars Spies (helming his SG with one hand - don't ask about the other) and Ultrium (straddling his rocket launcher despite cleary instructions to the contrary...) and by the grace of the TFC gods, xD managed to win a title... perhaps its first ever. Or at least, no one on the team recalls ever winning a title, much less a silver one.

Again, a vgg to iE and mad props to Fade, Nat, Pohl, Ultrium & Spies!
