We matched up with GD tonight on Gavelpit.
Round1 on FOoM1@Chicago with GD blue offense and us trying to hold down the fort. Apparently GD went to C4 school, taught by professor Vector, as they had what seemed like 6 demos with 16 pipes each. *snicker* Anyway, we held them off at B for a bit with some close calls. We were able to setup at C and get trenched in enough to stop the mad rush from B into C. They cracked the D a few times, but in the end it didn't break and we held off for the point. Switch colors! The FOoM O was rolling this round and we went for B first to through them a loop and it worked as we got A and B pretty quickly. They didn't get to setup at C before we got in there and we capped it. The next round was much more intense as we held them off on C a couple times right before they capped it all and get the point. Round ends 3-0 for FOoM.
Round2 on their server with FOoM being blue first. Unfortunately we had 2 drop at the start and it slowed our initial uber down. They also through a twist in on D that took us a little time to adjust to. We finally managed to cap for the point. Meanwhile, they cap then we cap and we have time for a 4th round this time. They get A and B fast and have about 8+ minutes to cap C. We do a great job holding them off until about a minute left and they finally get it to end the round 2-2.
