bloc. over DJedi
Round 1 on djedi's server showed a clear ping advantage for djedi. Midway through the match, bloc loses a guy and played a man down for about 10minutes. Despite the server issues and playing down, the round ends 1-1. Or does it? Actually, for some reason, on Djedi's server, the round doesn't end if a flag has been touched. Bizarre. After about 6 minutes of additional time and confusion, they finally drag out the cap from our base. We later confirmed this setting was erroneous, and we have no explanation as to why this happened.
Two minutes into round2, bloc capped and djedi decided the server is unplayable. Bloc seemed unaffected by this "warping" they referred to. They exit the server. After a lot of rather lame complaining in irc, and establishing that bloc, in fact, was not obligated to play elsewhere, bloc generously offered to play round 2 on FOoM1. We wanted zero confusion about who won the match, even though FOoM1 is located about 3000 miles from most of the bloc. So, round 2b began, and bloc got out to an early lead. Eventually, Djedi surged back, and bloc got caught playing too defensively. Round 2 ended with bloc ahead 3-2.
Final Score, 4-3 in favor of bloc. Here's to hoping next match isn't as bizarre as this one.
