STING over WoV
Woooooooooo my god! What a god damn fun match! It's ALWAYS a pleasure to play WoV, scrim or match. Both rounds were played on STING's server, where STING was graciously out-pinged by WoV, on OUR OWN server. (I think you have to know about other clan run-in's with the STING server to get this joke) hehe .. well, i thought it was funny... anyways:
Round 1 - Both sides exploded out of the bases with the rushes, while there were some touches I believe, no flags we're taken out right off the bat. Both teams detted the grate's rather quickly and gained water access. Both offenses did a damn good job. WoV covered the water entry REALLY well (I should know, I had a chaingun mashed into my forehead EVERYTIME i went that way). Anywho, STING started to turn it on and get the flag off the ledge. Our defense held strong but not strong enough to let 2 caps go by. Our offense got a lucky quick cap with 2 minutes left in the match to bring the final score to 50-20, STING's lead.
Round 2 - Again, played on the STING server. This match was more intense. WoV's defense changed up their strat to match STING's offense and it out down the hurtin'. Our defense kept the same strat with minor changes here and there, but still managed to hold WoV's lighting offense offense (they were QUICK, you should've heard the defense voice chat!). STING managed to get a total of 4 caps out. Twice we got the flag off the ledge, and twice it returned as we got thrashed by the hail of defense soldiers. WoV's offense ran 2 caps out under our defense's noses. Final score was 40-20.
Was a damn fine game WoV! Hella fun and uber clean. Hope we meet again soon!
