Writeup:
AFM over GTO
GG GTO Round 1 was at The Bottle
with AFM starting down a man (gettin to be a habit). The match began with a fury
GTO pulling a flag out on the initial run and AFM starting 1 on its way out. The round continued with a slow
steady stream of capping on both sides. The scores went back and forth the whole round
and finally AFM got a 9th man in. Round 1 ended 90-78 GTO. Round 2 took a bit of time to get goin
as sometimes happens. But when it finally did get goin
it was another rollercoaster ride. GTO had 2 men drop at then end of the pm(was it the 4th prematch?)
but elected to just start and get their guys in as the match started. That didn't phase GTO
though
as they hit us hard
pulling out another early cap. Poor FloatingPoop was really getting a workout. AFM capped
GTO capped
on and on
with both teams making lots of switchups in O and D classes and positions. GTO D was solid
and the O was relentless. Just when I was about to have a heart attack
match ended 90-62 AFM. Final 168 - 150 AFM. VGG GTO
look forward to playing you guys again sometime.
