CD over SIN
Wow, what a fun match. Very clean game played by all. We had a bit of experience on this map, as we did a play test on it back in the old TTT days. We also were fortunate enough to scrim a very good HCA team on it last week.
The 1st round was played on our home server where we averaged about 40 ping lower than -SIN-.
The round started with both teams getting a 1st run touch. Our O managed to bring it home after many touches, while our D held for a return. The second we capped #2, they cut the lead in half. Again once we took a 2 cap lead -SIN- capped right back. We extended the lead to 5-2 before they capped again. We got 2 more and they had one on the way out as time ran out.
R1 - CD - 7-3
The 2nd round was played on the -SIN- home server, where they held a slight ping advantage.
This round was a bit more intense.
Our MO continued tonight as we took a good lead into the 2nd half and had to sweat it out as a very good _SIN- team put the pressure on. This time, however, we were able to hold on. Both teams traded caps back and forth the whole round. Everytime they tied us, we would cap. The round ended with both flags on their way out.
R2 - Tie - 5-5
VGG -SIN-
We look forward to our next meeting with ya.
