Tonight, RES faced off against a newly reformed |CO| crew on vidars. Here's how it went down...
Round 1- |RES| International House of Punishment
IHOP was lagging a bit more than usual, but we gritted our teeth and dealt with it. A big GG goes out to CO for playing part of this round with a man down, hat's off to you. Now, on to the match. For round 1, RES put myn0ck, GraFFix, Enkkidu, SnakeBite, and Wucka on D, while N4P4LM, slawsypoo, cyber, and myself (Desperado) ran some O. At this point I'd like to point out that our top 4 scorers were on O :). CO had stabtwistpull, Seneka, Moemar, and PsychoKiller running some O, while Curse, onspecialK, gen, Redman, and ICE stayed on D. RES got a off to an early lead and held it pretty much the entire round. When PsychoKiller showed up, however, CO picked up momentum and moved in close. In the last five minutes or so, RES pulled out 3 chain caps back to back, sending us up to 110, and CO finished off with 70. Very fun, very clean matchup.
Round 2- |CO| Whatever the Hell This Thing is Called
Everyone pinged great to CO's server, and the match got underway with two full teams of nine. CO kept their lineup the same, while some minor adjustments were made for RES, putting Dm@n2b in for N4P4LM. I scored a little higher this time, and died a little less. Both teams capped a lot, and RES had some fun with some phantom flags that seemed to be there but really weren't (in essesce, I thought I had a flag and got TK'd by my D on the way into the flag room, lol). Another clean, fun round of TFC, culminated by a RES victory. RES takes round 2 150-110.
Final Score- 260-180 RES Favor.
