TTK over @
Wow...its been so long since we've won, I'm not sure what to say. :-) We were very unsure of what to expect against a team that we've never played before on a brand new map we've never played. We hadn't heard anything about clan -@ so we didn't know what to expect.
The match turned out to be fun...but probably a little more fun for us...as we were able to take the win. Great job -@.
Round 1 started and both teams were off. Unsuccessful scout rushes on both sides were evident as we passed each other in the yard...died...and did it again. Eventually our offense got into gear and started to pull flags out. It took us a little while to get into a groove, but once we did, the flags were working their way out at a steady pace. I looked at the scores a couple times and noticed that -@ had gone down a man, which was unfortunate. They might have been able to lock down a little. The defense, meanwhile, was doing a great job at shutting down the -@ offense. Only a few touches and no caps in the first round.
After a short break, and a few minor adjustments, we were off to the 2nd round. We haven't been used to being up lately...so we were in an odd situation. The round starts and we could tell that -@ had made some adjustments. They started touching the flag in the first few runs...and I think they were even able to pull a 2-1 lead for a short time. But the offense again kicked into gear and they were off. Slowly but surely, they were pulling the flags out and were able to secure the win.
