WoV vs -T-
Well... Darkness is much more fun 7vs7. For round1, Torque had guys snowed in, overeating, sleeping and drinking heavy... WoV had guys without computers, without connections, without brains. Fortunately, the guys without brains showed up for the match! Great 1st round with a 7vs6 and a lot of running and gunning. Our O channel was basically full of mirth and Christmas cheer...which confused me...but what the hell. We got this one gifted to us by our good friends.. WoV wins 30 - 10 round 1.
Round 2 is on their server, and our O department is screaming with delight... woohoo! we can conc!! Oh well.. we hoped that QP would quit giving us the cold shoulder and play...but, unfortunately, he couldnt show. So... we ended up playing the match with 6 players for rnd 2. As I write this... QP finally shows up...hooray. So...the second round starts with us down 3 and they actually field a 9!!! But... because they are great guys...they fake a cable death and only play with 8. Gotta love Mr. Puck and the crew. Unfortunately, our beloved JD dropped 3.5 truckloads of pipes on the flag and Torque did not have enough time to blow them all... so... they win by 26 - 16, but we still hung on to maintain an overall win.
Great game Torque it was truly a blast! Sorry we couldnt find all of our players... we will be better next season! :)
