Rd 1
The match got off to a little bit of a late start, but we finally
got all our people in and the round was underway. Dong capped first
and actually had a little lead for most the round, but DoM had a fury
of caps, one right after the other, and tied up the score, we managed
to pull one more cap home and win round 1 80-70. Very intense match.
Rd 2
After a little break, we piled back in the server, got a few restarts,
got a few more restarts, and probably one more, but finally the match
got underway. I thought round 1 was intense, omg round 2 was neck and
neck the entire round. DoM came at us from all sides and somehow we managed
to hold them off just enough to tie. They had our flag in the yard when
the round ended. Luckily it ended cause we were heading for overtime.
Round 2 80-80. What a great match for the playoffs, just the way its
supposed to be, GG DoM, Very tough match to say the least.
I can't believe we are entering the 3a finals after all that has happened to dong in the past month or so. We completely changed our roster after most left or went inactive. We were actually thinking we would have to drop back
to 4a. We took 3 weeks off from match play, got reorganized and came back hoping
we could hang in 3a. I'm really proud of all the dongers that hung in there and worked
hard. Somehow, we made it.
