Let me digress briefly before I even begin... we've been too damn lazy to do match write-ups lately, and as I've been reading predictions I've noticed that by and large people don't seem to know much about us (although the only predictors who really say so straight out are the folks at CE... heh). That's cool... sure, we love attention, but if no one knows who we are thats... fine.... *sniff*... *SOB!!* boo hoo hoo...
Ahem.
Okay I'm back. Here in a nutshell is what you should know about /tmp:
/tmp/Prime_Directive: HAVE FUN!
/tmp/Current_Most_Popular_Saying: I...LOVE...YOU!
/tmp/Current_Respawn_Spam_Champ: /tmp/Keymaster
(look here: http://www.teleport.com/~jocho/clan/images/screenshots/016.html )
Um, that's about it. You could always read our FAQ if you have any more questions:

Remember, ignorance is no excuse. Well, actually it is, one of my favorites in fact. On to the match!
Since arriving near the top of the OGL ladder... oh... way back when sometime... /tmp has been sandwhiched between soopah doopan hard-to-beat clans above (that can seldom be challenged) and a seemingly endless stream of challengers from below... one or two of whom have slipped by, bastards! |CO| was no exception to the two basic rules of being challenged for a high spot: lots of talent, and burning with desire to get your spot. Hey, at least we feel popular!
Not too much to say about Torch2... this is map that takes experience, and according to |CO| they hadn't played it in a match before. We learned a lot after PF pounded the hell out of us on this map, and both our D and our O really feel comfortable on it. |CO| learned fast and adapted to try and exploit what weaknesses they could find, and did an excellent job -- 17 caps is nothing to sneeze at. However, while they were doing that our hungry hungry hippos dove into the |CO| swampwater 31 times, so this round went to /tmp.
Well... well, Well. They capped to much. We capped almost as much. Pretty much a trade back and forth, although |CO| was always ahead. We pulled closer towards the end but couldn't quite to it. Their scouts and medics were flying everywhere... like.. like... okay to quote Larcain, "Like going to see the swallows at Capastrano!" although I think he spelled it right. Anyhoo, this map gives me a rash, good thing I had RW problems and sat this one out. No one here seems to remember the exact score, but they were definitely ahead in the end by about 2 caps, and had about 90. Curse their soggy hides!
Darkness is an old /tmp favorite which we pulled out of the closet and dusted off... because we missed it! Yep, our D once threated to kill themselves if we played it one more time, but have since learned to enjoy the heady rush of being attacked from 27 sides by people they can't see. Once again |CO| learned really quick, but experience paid off. Our D held on by their fingernails and fragged everything in sight... including me.... for some reason everytime someone killed my poor sg, a /tmp soldier would wheel around and start pummeling me with rockets :( I guess it was their way of telling me to take better care of it... sheesh, tough love. First round was us 12 - 6 . The second round was very close (including a cap at the last possible instant imaginable), but it is takes a nation of millions to hold our infiltrators back on Darkness... well, more that 4 anyway... second round was 12 - 14 us, so we took this one 26-18.
Nice work |CO| ... as usual we were impressed with the drive and determination of our challengers... sure we will see you around etc etc.
