Wot happened:

Kudos to FL for a hard-fought match. My understanding is that some of their starters couldn't make the match due to real-life type stuff. Also, at their request we played both rounds on /tmp's Easystreet (tm) server (thanks Easy (tm) !). Nonetheless they put together an excellent squad who kept /tmp on their toes and made us sweat to grab their stuff and hold onto our own. Ummm... rrrr, moving right along...
Round 1 :: Torch2

/tmp got off to a scorching start on this round, with /tmp/Keymaster unleashing all the sluices of propriety to win at the 4-minute mark. Won the round? NO! This is prematch still. /tmp/Keymaster is now the proud holder of the Golden Glob (of SPAM) award, for achieving a bowel-loosening -164 score in the prematch respawn spamfest. Keymaster recovers this coveted award from his his arch-rival /tmp/Beck America , flushing Beck's previous record of -121 down the john of history. Congratulations Keymaster! Contestants are reminded that the "cease spam" at T minus 1 minute rule will be strictly enforced from now on.
Back to the game that actually involved the other team.
/tmp/Wrench got so caught up in the spam that his computer actually freaked out and he was unable to stop pooping MIRVs. No joke. So the round started with /tmp missing a key portion of our defense as Wrench spent five minutes offline whacking his computer with a 3' length of rebar. Meanwhile our offense encountered some smart defense over at the FL side. FL pretended they weren't home when /tmp rang their doorbell over and over yelling "Rotorooter, here to plunge the commode!", but the guerilla plumbers climbed through the windows and gave the flag repeated swirlies. /tmp takes this one 350 - 40. MVP is /tmp/Joefire, who rebuilt his sg something like 50 times while trying to comfort his crying baby.
Round 2 :: Crossover

Okay, I've already gone on too long :( This was a hard-fought round, FL showed great ingenuity on offense and sharp-pointy teeth on D. Capping came at a slow pace, but with only (I think) 3 on O they couldn't quite keep up. /tmp wins 50 - 20.
GG FL, now we know what the FL buzz we keep hearing is all about :)
