2sM over SMP

STA Silver Title Match vs [SMP]

With blood pressures rising and the tension mounting, we piled into SMP's server for the first round of the match, with SMP having a 50+ ping advantage on us. LoaF lagged out 3 different times during the round, but we fought through it. Round begins, and the traditional scout rush goes off with SMP getting the first touch. We pull in the first 2 caps, and they match us. The pace of this round was insane, and we knew this was gonna be a victory we would have to earn. After going cap for cap, we pull in one more and the round ends 9-8 2sM. Great first round, [SMP]. I don't think I've ever yelled that much when killing someone, although 69's yelling on RW helped. :P

Round 2, we head to the Private Family Compound, where we settle uneasily with our 1 cap lead. In matches like this, 1 cap doesn't cut it. Sure enough, the round starts and we each bring in a cap, but [SMP] pull ahead. 69 gets angry, and with amazing communication, we start rolling out the caps. They gain on us, even tying it at 6, but we pull away, and when the dust settles from the yard D, pot shots, yelling & cursing on RW, and general anguish, we take r2 10-7. Match Total: 19-15.
