SoL over AC

We were worried but we knew we had to try. The title had slipped through our fingers three times this season already... the soldiers were hungry, they were anxious to break that no-title curse. When we found out we would be going for the title with AC, we were extremely excited. These guys are some of the coolest folx in TFC so we knew win or lose, the party would be fun!

Round one started on the AC server where pings were amazingly low as history had fortold. It was predicted that AC's O was on top of their class. As a D player, I am here to tell ya, that ain't no joke!!! Looking at their meds up by the plank was like watching an angry swarm. They were very well coordinated and relentless! Luckily for us, our D was ready for this one. We were knocked left and right, they pulled the flag as far as the bottom ramp but we somehow managed a return every time. Meanwhile, our O was giving the AC D a run for their money. Our D was so busy, I couldn't even take notice of the scores and when the match ended and I saw the score, I was happy to see SoL's O had dragged four hard earned flags out of there.

We headed into round two knowing that AC would be rallying their troops to bring back some payback caps from round one. In round two, the AC D seemed to dig in their heals. They got really stingy with that flag and it never got past their plank. Our D was just as stingey this round and we managed to keep the touches down to only a few. This round ended with just as much action, just no caps despite the amazing O on both teams.

If ever there was a title match to be played, this one was it for me. AC is a great group of folx and their roster is full of incredible talent. We managed to squeak away with this one, but I think AC will be looking at that title again very soon. It was an honor and a pleasure AC, very good game everyone!
