NiX hammered out a strat 30 minutes prior to match time featuring 2 fat guys. The strat heald very well. Fig seemed to dissappear at the beginning of r1 for about 2 minutes, but the D heald regaurdless. The TDA offense managed to pull the flag to our lower resup however, and our D heald our breathes as the seconds and spam flew by. Later in the round, TDA again managed to pull a flag out of the flag room, this time leaving it by the upper resupply where again it was heald tight.
The NiX 0 meanwhile, didn't seem to be getting anywhere fast. Highlight of the round was ruiner getting Spannered to death by the TDA engy. With about 5 minutes left, NiX ditched the 2nd HW for a Soldier after much consideration and seeing how the 2 HW Guy strat was pretty boring.
Inbetween rounds, I spoke with Phish and agreed that neither team would not use 2 D HWs for round 2. good call because it was still a pretty frustrating match for both offenses. The NiX O pulled out the 1 and only cap a little help of an O run or 2 from a NiX defender. Meanwhile, the Lardy, playing soldier instead of HW this round, was doing a great job cleaning up leftovers from Kamik's Cannon. TDA had some good movement at different stages, good spy work after the midway point, but just didn't get enough momentum to move out a cap.
