Writeup:
SIN over R66
1st Rd: SIN server
After two weeks on the horrid monkey_l (well, it had its moments I suppose), the SINner's were glad to be playing openfire_l, despite its spammy nature. Things got started at a decent time and ^R66 started out fast and furious with an all scout rush to the button. Thankfully, the SIN defense was able to hold them off for the most part. Unforunately, after about 40 seconds, -SIN-EnemyWithin, my parter in crime at the button, lagged out. I (the demo) held them off as long as I could but the persistent offense from ^R66 paid off as they got the lasers down and then eventually the flag out; they did not cap however. Meanwhile, the SIN O was doing really well and managed to get some early caps. The caps kept coming from the O (great job guys!) and everyone did a great job on D, especially -SIN-(R)PeDu, playing in his first official match with us, and -SIN-Ripster with his amazing comms from the battlements. Overall it was a very clean and fun match, with a lot of tense moments despite the score, especially the one time the flag was in the pit.
SIN: 120 ^R66: 10
2nd Rd: ^R66 Server
After a couple of subs in the SIN lineup, things got rolling, albiet a little late due to HLTV issues. Due to my very low ping on the server, myself and -SIN-EnemyWithin switched duties at the button. Once again the EW and Crims team played well together. :) The D from ^R66 really tightened up, allowing very few movements. As for the ^R66 O, they kept things interesting by capping twice and putting greater pressure on the water entrance (i.e. killing -SIN-JAG :) ). Overall this was a very fun match and well played by ^R66, they played hard till the end.
SIN: 30 ^R66: 20
Final Score- SIN: 150 ^R66: 30
