KO over EoD
Well, tonight was our first STA Gold win, taking us off a 2 game STA losing streak. R1 started off pretty quick with our offense getting the first touch, however, the flag returned. Within 5 minutes though we had the first cap. EoD quickly tied up the score a couple minutes later. EoD didn't cover the water as much as they needed to earlier in the game, so one of our spies HHed from the water and brought another flag down.
After we fought our way through the defense long enough to bring home that flag, one of our offense was ready for the relay and got the flag to the ramp. That flag was quickly captured and our O managed to get another relay off of that one and brought that home for a quick 3 caps. For the rest of the match the caps went back and forth, and EoD wasn't able to catch up. R1 score: 60-30
The entire 2nd round was KO and EoD taking turns capping the flag. Whenever one pulled ahead, the other quickly tied the game up. EoD used the water and battlements a lot this round and did a great job keeping our floor D busy. Their spies also did a great job getting to our flag and faking out the demo to bring it to the floor, where we were never able to hold it for long. R2 score: 40-40 Final score: 100-70 KO wins
