Rnd 1 started with scouts everywhere in both FRs. SoL capitalized on that and brought in the first cap or two. After that, it was a volly of touches. SoL managed to capitalize on the throws and keep the score up and the round ended with RES at 30, SoL at 70
Rnd 2 started much the same with scouts flying at both ends of the map. This time both teams were pushing at the same speed. About 10 minutes in, SoL had a small lead. Before we knew it, our D was overwelmed with heavy O. RES built an impressive cap train pulling I think 4 caps out before we were able to adjust. Luckily our O was still pushing hard and once we adjusted we were able to let our O pull the scores back but not quite enough to even it up. Round ends at an incredibe RES 80, SoL 70.
What a great match, RES is top notch and we were not feeling too confident going into this match. We pulled it off however, much to our surprise. RES played a great game, very clean, very challenging, and it was up in the air all the way to the end of round 2. Their comeback in round 2 was nothing short of outstanding on their part. Great game RES!
