2mesa3 vs FOoM
Well, this was our first Platinum match, and I don't know about the rest of the guys, but I was nervous. I have a huge amount of respect for FOoM, and we drew them first. This one would prove to be veerrrrry interesting.
I had to reboot, but when I got back, I'm guessing they were having server issues, so r1 was on the Compound. PM ends, and scout rushes ensue. Pbman brought home the first cap on the opening rush! (gfj Peanut Butter man. Use the JiF power) The round was pretty tight, with both D's doing a solid job. In the end, we managed to bring some more home, and the round ended 2sM 50 FOoM 20.
R2 was on the Compound once again. We were pretty pumped taking the 1st round, but we knew this round would be much harder. Opening rushes went again, and they touched first. They got a lot of movement, but never managed to bring one home. Thanks to the mad skills of havok, Pb & Capn, we brought 6 home. Hats off to the mad yard D on the one we got. I spammed and then got shot in the pit. Boy did that suck. :( Anyways, after much war, r2 ends 2sM 60 FOoM 0.
