GOO over N
Well, thanks to admins errors, we didn't exist. Seems that our roster was deleted and apparently couldn't get fixed in time for the match. We still played, and managed to do it with our neat "refresh" exploit. Maybe Gaf can add that to the llama board, Dogs. Anyways, instead of telling it from GOO's perspective, we have raided N|'s board to tell it from their perspective:
Rd1: We played on GOO's Commodore64 Recon-gamer. They slowly raped us in what would look like a scene from 'Seven'. Their O was vanishing and reappearing, a phenomenon known as 'warping'. See Flag. See Medic Warp. See Flag Warp. Warp Flag Warp. It was the kind of round that makes one want to retire. I do not recall much of the round than that. Everyone spammed and TKed each other to try and kill phantom medics. Round ends 00-90.
Rd2: We played on our non-paperweight Recon-gamer. Our O managed to pull a few out. Our D started out good, but then they just kept pounding us. I, for one, wasn't getting any incomings. Their O might as well have been warping--spies were appearing out of thin air. Maybe I'll take up mind-reading so that I no longer need to worry about the lack of comms from others. Round ends 20-70.
GG GOO's. Defense did extremely well. 3 touches on 1st rnd! After a bit of shuffling of the roster for round 2, we all played for fun and didn't look too shabby in the process. Sibby had his defensive fix for the year, Postal capped a legitamite flag (without killing someone for it) and Joker on D managed 2 spanners! Weeeee
