mH over NiX
After losing a few consecutive matches and generally not having too good of a time, I decided it was time for mH to have a fun match. So I challenge to Canalzon, the best map ever created for TFC, and possibly for any shooter. We also happen to be pretty good on it.
So after an hour and a half of prematch activity in which I try to interpret the strategy onspecialK is trying to tell me, we decide on NiX's server for both rounds - they also, ever so graciously, host HLTV.
Round 1 starts and I make my way through CP7, which is hauntingly empty. I decide to move up to CP2, where I end up for the rest of the game. I try to send onspecialK over to CP4 to help out BadLuck, but he has trouble with the directions I gave him ("Left of CP4"), so ends up somewhere else. Not sure exactly. I had a crowbar on Ruiner I think, and sadly enough NiX played down 1 man most of the round, and at times down 2. mH takes the round 257-162.
Second round Repair asks not to play because of his ping or something, so I sub in oes and let onspecialK play roaming harasser guy. Without a set place to play, who needs directions? I made my way to CP7 and whored my SSG good, and added a tick to the crowbar count at DogFighter's dismay. Again, NiX played a man down for the duration (or so my end-game screen shot tells me), and 30 minutes and 57 frags later round ends with mH up 261-127.
I don't have a calculator handy, so adding up the scores in my head, I get a final total of 518-289. If that's wrong, you can SUCK A HONEY BADGER'S ASS.
A big pat on the back goes out to Killz, who returns after ~2 months of inactivity because of a borked computer. Also, NiG, one of our runners, somehow managed to get the top score on our team second round... I don't know how exactly he did that, but in recognition of feat I have decided to promote him to full member, which I shall do whenever his AFK ass returns.
GG NiX, sorry you fellas had to play a man down. =/
