WoW...what a great match tonight vs FOoM on Mulch_Trench.
/tmp/Ghroth's perspective of round 1:
the game kicked off with a bang
as the D fell into their groove and the O took off to get some caps
the tmp'r's got a head start and held fast till teh end
then the foomr's brought up the rear with a poke from behind
and rnd 1 was over with tmp ahead by 2
Just to expand upon his summary...FOoM started off with only 8 cause their new guy...some llama named Delete crashed right when the match started...so because of him.../tmp was able to get a 3 cap lead before FOoM finally got one. /tmp's D held them at only the one cap until late in the round...then they started clickin real good and came from 4 caps down to get close...but not close enough.
Round 2
I felt optimistic this round...but worried at the same time. Our offense had started to stall and our D had started to slip at the end of rd1. Anyways, the only change we make is me in for Incubus. FOoM made a couple changes as well. Our defense held on just enough this round to allow our offense to keep our lead going. Our offense actually did a little better this round. Highlight of the round had to be [FOoM]Suab's 4-banger EMP kill as O engie...it was a beautiful thing. /tmp manages a 6 cap advantage for round 2.
A great match against a great clan. Our first win against the mighty FOoM. Will wonders never cease.

This is -NOT- our first win versus FOoM, although the last time we beat them was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
