TiTz over GTO

OMG! What a match as usual from the folks over at GTO! VGG to you as always. Gonna try to do a recap to justify the intensity of the match.

Rd 1 GTO's nifty server.

Whelp, seems we couldn't figure out whether we should spawn our O or D first, so we tried to do both n a few got telefragged. :) I was one of the lucky ones and actually made it to our flag just as the scouts and meds started to fly in. Can't remember if they touched it or not, I believe they did, but it didn't move. Thankfully we now had a few moments to set our D and get ready for the slugfest. Things went slowly from here on out, both squads probing for weaknesses and not having much luck. GTO got the first cap, which I personally blame on my rocket launcher for being faulty. The spy who managed to get through on two consecutive runs, with me missing him with about 6 out of 8 rockets, tossed the flag behind the lasers where about a minute later a passel of meds took it away. Well I got mad, and my RPG actually started to work right. Fortunately our offense managed to harness their inner chi and capped a few minutes later. They brought another one home to give us a 2-1 lead after round 1.

Rd 2 at the TiTz crackhouse

Much discussion over who should spawn first. We had a one cap lead and felt confident we could hold the gang off. It was not meant to be. GTO pulled off some very nice coordinated attacks and stormed out to a 3-0 lead. Whelp, thankfully our offense relied on their juju within and started to bring home the bacon themselves. The D locked down and although GTO had many more quality touches, only brought home one more cap. Meanwhile our offense was on a bit of a rampage, bringing home five caps in this round, and saving the self esteem of our defense for another match.

Again, Great Game GTO.
Oh yeah scores. rd 2 5-4 TiTz
total 7-5 TiTz
