NIL8 over LLD
It had been more than year and half since NIL8 played it's last clan match. But on Monday night, a new batch of NIL8ers joined some NIL8 veterans to play the clan's 105th official league match. The oppenent was Last Line of Defense on the new map ss_nyx.
While it's been a while since some people like myself have played TFC, it's nice to know some things -- like server disputes -- never change. Round 1 started with LLD having problems with the NIL8 server. So it was decided the round would be played on the LLD server.
Unfortunately, the LLD server was a laggy for some people. Still, both clans were anxious to get started, despite the conditions. But the server conditions appeared to make things difficult for offensive players --- turning the round into more of a defensive struggle. Still, there was no denying that both defenses were stubborn, especially when the flag moved. While there were lots of touches by both offenses, both clans had a hard time bringing home the cloth. By the time the round was over, NIL8 only had two caps to LLD's one. The NIL8 defensive team also got the 5 bonus points.
With the match score close at 25-10, the teams gave the NIL8 server another go. The server change did wonders for the NIL8 offense, which cracked the LLD defense to reel off flag capture after flag capture. Meanwhile, the NIL8 defense again held strong. The round ended 175 to 15 in NIL8's favor. The overall match score was 200 to 25 NIL8 over LLD.

It should be noted that we were down a man and then 2 men in round 2, perhaps because we were forced to play on a server in which 2 of our key guys pinged 900, after being outright lied to by Forrester saying he had a different server we could play on. Ah well gg NIL8 rd1 was fun anyway!

yea he should just try and walk right past the other team. cuz walking is so much leeter than bhoping. its not like a soldier can hit someone that walks, medics that bhop are SOOO much easier to hit.
