KO over STAR
Tonight we played STAR on mortality_l. We had no scrim previous to the match, so I don?t get to shout out to any clan about it. So we went into the match basically ?blind? except for a couple of practices from our ?guide dogs?: the offence.
Round 1: We started out getting spammed from a left over MIRV from some one tking in pre-match, but after taking a little damage our D got setup. They started out getting a cap after we crushed their rush, 5 minutes into the match. Our O countered with a cap 5 minutes after. There O grabbed another one out from use and or answered back with another one a couple minutes after. Our O finally pulled us ahead with a cap, but they caped less then a minute later. The defense finally got pissed and moved the SG to the attic/flag room and we held them for the remaining 5 minutes. Our O had a cap coming but never got it home in time. Result: 30-30 Tie
Round 2: After the last MIRV incident we made sure we weren?t going to get spammed this time and we also started with the SG in its new ?impenetrable? spot. The SG had only one ?Achilles? heal?, the battlements. Their team heavily rush/spammed poor ole me. But they couldn?t keep anything down long enough to take advantage, leaving them with only one flag touch. Hmmm, do I see another ?Iron Curtain? in the making? Our O polished off there D and got us 3 more caps to add to our total. Result: 20-0 ]KO[
Final score: 60-30 ]KO[
Our O, as well as their own, could have gotten more caps in round 2 if it weren?t for DEATH chasing our O and them having 6 D towards the end. But the rest of the match was clean.
