What was ELB's strat?
From what I've noticed, they have barely even denied it was a lame strat. All I've seen from them is something about other teams whining which has traditionally been the excuse lame clans use. But I'm not saying ELB is or was lame, just curious at this point.
And HW's that spam don't usually get most of their kills with grenades, it's from the AC after the enemy ran into one of the randomly tossed grenades. HW's that usually don't spam get more grenade kills than those that spam because they kill the enemy with primed grenade that they hit the enemy with after seeing them and firing at them for a few seconds with the AC. That's just generally speaking...

Their complaint was HW front door. No offense, but I dont think your generalization is quite accurate, especially for a level such as well without any grenade packs. It was HW alone at front door, who apparently after playing TFC for 3 years was (according to DrLove anyway)was tossing random mirvs, grenades, you name it. But for some reason, every single practice, and match I have seen him in he's primed at tossed nades and mirvs....but for some odd reason (maybe he forgot how to prime?) tonight he was blindly spamming. It wasn't lame, the fact of the matter was that (!)'s O wasn't strong enough to penetrate the flag room. Only member I saw with any consistancy getting into the flag room was Tech9. DrL was the player I saw least getting into the FR round 2, which is understandably why he was complaining. It's much easier to blame the opposing teams lame strat, rather than admitting to lack of skill. That, and the losing streak have caused DrL some grief, and he's taking it out on ELB. That's my theory anyway.

Personally, I'm surprised (!) didn't take the water the entire game and rape you. That D really doesn't look very solid at all...it leaves the FR very vulnerable to groups attacking the water which (!) didn't try from what I saw.
But please do tell, how can a HW in ANY position take more skill than a soldier? HAHAHA. There could *possibly* be one or two exceptions, but right now I can't think of any single case where a HW ever takes more skill than a soldier, ever. You can be defensive, I can understand that. But don't come out saying insanely stupid things like HW's take more skill than soldiers. And let me save you the trouble for trying to argue that 1 HW in a position takes more skill than 2 soldiers in the same position. First of all, they aren't quite in the same position since the HW is out front, and also...it still isn't true. Like I said before, that's a joke.

Remember this, all lame strats are "smart" (at least a good 80 - 90% of them, that's why they're used), but not all smart strats are lame. You don't have to play gay just to win bud. And of course, that's just my opinion. I frown on HW's out front on most maps, other people like old CNBL think it's the smart thing to do and don't consider it lame (or just don't care if it is). Lame strats are a matter of opinion and everyone has their own opinion, get over it.

Maynard I have never said soldier at the FD on Well is hard. It's one of the easiest positions ever and it's a ton of fun. I played it on that same night vs Nx and had a blast along with a ton of kills (and I don't mean I got a lot of kills simply because I'm good). All I said is the HW will never take more skill than the soldier in any position. Dunno if you misread what I said or what, but that's all I'm saying.

I played O demo in that match and i didnt think the yard hw was too lame, i killed him pretty much every run when i could get to their base with more then half my health, otherwise gg i had some fun and thats all that matters!
ELB is pretty cool i talked to them a lot after the match, nice people if your nice to them.
