Well, OMG! pretty much expresses this one for me. What a great and intense match.
Round 1
The BT started off with a 5 man offense and attempted to overpower the SnD defense. The first few minutes started off with a cap run. One team capping after the other. SnD eventually took the lead. The BT switched to a 5 man Defense, but by the time everything got settled down, SnD was able to pull into the lead at 70-20. The 5 man Defense bogged down the SnD offense holding them to one more cap for the rest of the round. Meanwhile, the BT offense got their rhythm going, using excellent teamwork, and closed the gap with three caps, bringing round 1 to a closure at 80-50.
Round 2
This time the BT switched up their strategy a bit and started with a 5 man D. The SnD Offense kept up their relentless pressure and had a couple near captures. However, the new BT setup kept them under control, holding them to three caps this round. Much thanks goes out to our demoman for covering that flag. On the other side, the BT offense got their machine in gear and rolled out 7 caps to win the game. Showing us one of their best games of organization and skill they have had to date. The BT brought in the last cap with less than a minute to go, and just as the map ended, the SnD was on their way through the tunnel with the tying cap.
Great game, overall good sportsmanship. It was great to play with you again SnD, we hope to continue our little series, and have many exciting games in the future.
