Tonight we matched up against Eternal Domination for the vacant STA Gold title and we finally did it! After 2 years, 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days we finally hold a title!
Round1
|RES|International House Of Punishment (IHOP)
|RES| had been on the server for quite some time warming up. Right on time, eD joined the server and we got underway. Nothing really happend on the scout rush, but it wasn't long before the |RES| offense got into a nice little groove and started pulling caps and relays. Legolas even had a nice coast to coast. I was not in the match, but from listening to Teamspeak, it sounded like we had their defense on their heels. Our offensive timing was impeccable. As the flag runner was capping, we always had someone around their flag room for the relay. The |RES| defense held tough and got a few flags to return which took a lot of pressure off the offense and helped them be more at ease. The round ended in favor of |RES| 130-50.

eD| The Man Train
|RES| got an early start into eD's server to try and keep the fires going. eD joined and the prematch spamfest began. Mynock was the clear winner in the TK department, but we all expected that since he's got a hard-on for the rest of us. Again the scout rush was nullified and it took a bit for either team to get anything going. Pretty soon though, SnakeBite went to the corner ar the bottom of the spiral and pretended to make out with himself. When Graf saw that, he started to feel a bit moist in the loins so he hiked up his dress and used the flag as a strippers pole and tried to distract the eD offense, but it didn't quite work. They were repulsed and took the flag away from Graf, slipped by SB only slowing down enough to rub one out on his back. They continued up the spiral and took Mynock in the back door. Now normally Nock would enjoy this, but he's never been mounted by 4 guys at once! Thus, he was left by the crates wondering if any of them would call him in t!
he morning. With 3 out of the 4 |RES| defenders out of commision, it was up to Ijon_Tichy to hold down the fort, which he did for a while, but there is only so much one can do. On the other end of the field, ShoKz was raping their defense while Dman, Lego, and Chop sat back and watched. Finally Chop got a few caps out, but it wasn't nearly enough to overcome the complete and total ownage of the |RES| defense. The round ended in favor of eD 100-50.
