TFCC over rp

Wow, this match didn't disappoint. We knew from last week that the capping would be hot and heavy on this map. And while in round 1 rp:'s offense seemed to know this, ours took a little while to get jump-started. The rp: offense was coming to us in waves, and at the 19 minute mark of the match, had posted a 90-10 lead. TFCC's offense seemed to start finding the holes though, and made up some ground in the last 11 minutes, closing the round 1 scored at 120-50 for rp:

During the break between the match, TFCC changed up a couple of positions, changing the ever dangerous MontyBurns from his typical offensive position with MitsuMan, to defensive solly. A couple of other changes were in the books and then we were on our way with round 2. We knew that it was possible for us to make up the seven caps we just needed to get the chemistry going.
Our newest TFCCer MacGuyver got the party started at the 35 second mark by tossing the flag down and Monty killed 3 of the scouts from rp:'s initial scout rush. From then on, it was a totally different story than round 1. TFCC's offense seemed to find their groove and the caps started coming out like clockwork. TFCC had built up a 6-1 lead when one of rp:'s players dropped. TFCC didnt show them any mercy though, and continued to take their flag away from them. TFCC's offense quickly closed up the gap from round 1 and then started to build on our lead. The defense closed like a vice as well, allowing caps at just the 6 and 29 minute marks. TFCC wins round 2 180-20

rp: was a GREAT group of guys who never once complained when they dropped to 7 guys for the round, or even when they went to 6 for a couple of minutes. They showed good sportsmanship and TFCC will be looking forward to our match with them next season.
