DT over KEA
Wow, what an interesting match. Started well enough, but quickly degraded. Lets review, shall we?
Round 1:
The match started off well enough, with both offenses working out caps. We got one, KEA got one, etc. Then we were able to set up a relay to get out 4 quick caps unanswered, and KEA shifted it's defense. They brought a heavy weapons guy out into the yard, who started killing everything in sight. By the end of the round it has so frustrated our Offense that we decided to do something about the yard D, and one of our guys went sniper.
Score: DT-100 KEA-70
Round 2:
Went to KEA's server and basically picked up where we left off. They kept the yard D, so we kept the sniper, and the match just degraded after that. Their Heavy Weapons guy spammed MM1 before quitting (how unprofessional), and half of their defensive squad went sniper to combat our single O sniper, leaving two to guard their flag.
Score: DT-160 KEA-70
Final: DT-260 KEA-140
I had a lot of respect for KEA, their reputation had definitely proceeded them, as a clan with good ethics and great sportsmanship. After being banned from your IRC channel after the match, I realized this is not the same KEA clan that we had come to know and respect. You chose the direction you wanted to play the match, and got angry with us when we were able to beat you at your own game. I hope you view this match as a learning experience that will direct you in tactics not to use if you are truly striving for a clean match.

The only reason you won by so much is because we played with 8 because our hwguy got so disgusted by your llama play.

I didn't play rd 1 but watched it first person over Qq's shoulder and KEA threw the first o vs o punch. I saw your hw in the yard shooting at everything that moved. I also saw your clan member in rd 1 that was booted from the game by ringer free.
I did play rd 2 and played a frustrating game of tag with delete ;> however your hw before quitting the game mid match spamming "fuckin fagots" (oh I have screenshot as well as demo) was totally uncalled for. That stunt would be a punishable offense by TFL Sportsmanship rules but I let it slide and our leaders cautioned no one to respond to your teams mm1 comments but just play it out.
As for the spawn spam.. well if your engy builds his sg in front of your spawn then it would be a logical conclusion to think our o is going to throw grenades etc at it to take it down. If you dont want to be killed coming out of spawn tell your engy to put his sg in a more selective area.
Maybe by next year your team will have gained a bit more maturity and make an effort to play a clean game and be the classy clan I used to think you were. You might even take some time to brush up on your vocabulary and spelling ;) JMO

i played DT once, was the worst match ive ever played....you are ranked #1 clan in my personal Llama list...BAD GAME..sorry guys but you have a lot of llamas, potshoters and spammers in your clan.....
you will never see a "gg" from your opponent with that attitude.....

I suggest you guys watch the demos before you run your mouths. The only thing near spawn spam was a nade being tossed at the solly or ngy goin in or out of that spawn. You guys did your share of spam by our spawn as well, that's what happens when there's a position for someone to play 10 ft outside the spawn door. We accepted the unintentional spam just as you should.
I failed to see much O v O besides us shooting/killing your flag carrier. If you cant handle that then you're playing the wrong game.
The verbal abuse came after one of our offensive players went sniper to kill your YARD D HW ONLY when the flag had been brought to the front door or was in the yard. When you play a yard HW you should expect that as well. He spawned sniper I think a total of 3 times over both rounds.
Not only did we deal with the verbal abuse on the server which we never responded to. But then you !kb our team capt out of your irc room when he says gg which is also illegal.
So dont expect any apologies or I'm sorries from this side.

guys....this game was fun
i have nothing bad to say to DT...they played fairly in my views. that sniper just pissed glim off probably after you guys capped the flag and he was still up there(ionno, i wasnt out side) i just want to say sometimes we get frustrated with this game at times...and blah, its all about having fun. Once you leave the comp you forget everything. This game got outta hand with that sniper. Also with that O spamming resup....lol, shit that was prolly me(soldier bottom). So leave this be and lets all see each other again and have a better match.

I see nothing wrong with putting a sniper on bat to rid the yard of D so that the offense can get the flag out of the yard. I'm not sure where you've been playing, but plz show me in the "gentlemen's" rules where it says we cant use a sniper?
And btw, we're well aware of ppl playing yard D a little more then they use to. We do it ourselves, but didn't feel we needed to this time. Why do you think he switched to sniper? B/C we've seen alot more yard D and have adapted to it.
No matter what class we play, starting shit on mm1 like a 12 yr old throwing a temper tantrom is rediculous. OMG I WAS SHOT OMG FUCKIN LLAMA NOOBS!...lol It was quite amusing. Makes you want to do it more.

Oh, what a strange thread. Since when is sniper the all feared clanmatch class?
Sniper isnt normally used in a clanmatch, because sniper isnt normally useful.
Now, when we use a sniper as a way to counter attack your yard hw (which so many ppl would consider lame btw, but we didnt complain about it did we?) he starts crying.
Ok, fine, we let him cry, but it doesnt stop there. Now 2 kea guys go sniper. Do we cry? Nope. Why should we, they were useless, because the were both used in a wrong way, and at a wrong time.
What u ppl have totally forgotten is tactics. If you use yard hw, do u seriously expect the opponent to say "wow, what a great idea to use yard hw, that must be why we lost" ? or do u expect them to deal with it?
Well, we dealt with it, and we used logic to do so. If there is nothing lame about yard hw, then there certainly is nothing lame about a sniper taking care of him.
Let me also comment on the respawns spam. On mulch trench, the lower respawn is a combat area, accept it and play on, engies build there and demo hide there etc etc. Both of those happened in the match btw.
Your flames were not only uncalled for, they have a newb smell to them as well. The demos will prove all this.
