^up over SoN
Round 1: rnd1 ^up was down a player because Kami decided to go out for some chicken at the last min(seriously wtf). but we scrambled and we went with 4 defense, not the greatest move but meh. Well SoN pulls a quick cap on our slightly skimpy defense. ^up manages to pull out a cap of our own while SoN spies keep us on our toes. SoN pulls out another cap at around the 10 mintue mark. then what do we see... the greasy fingered kami scrolling on into server. Our defense re-corrects itself and manages to keep SoN from capping for the rest of the round. vGG round1. Score: Son 2 - ^up 1
Round 2: While still playing on SoN's server ( ours was being shitty today and lagging) round 2 gets under way. Talk about a stands till. SoN's defense held on strong finally giving up a TOUCH on the flag after about 10 minuets. ^up's defense also kept strong but SoN kept at it. They finally got flag down and near the elevators. they kept on it strong and managed to pull it out to the RR area. right before the flag was gonna return they managed to get a touch. it eventually ended up outside with everybody spamming the water entrance on the bridge. Then came a SoN emp... and well they got a cap. After hitting the 15minute mark our offence started to get a touch and move the flag. Pulling out a cap tieing the game at 1-1. Both defenses keeping very strong and not allowing any touches let alone caps. After so many unsuccessful attempts our offence managed to drag out a cap sending the match into OT!!!.
