After reviewing the HLTV demo of round 2 last night, this was anything from a GG. Immediately after the round started, one of our guys lagged out, and another dropped completely. Personally, if this happened against us, I would have offered another restart, but |OC| wasn't that generous.
And the reason things got out of hand in the first place, was because your offense from the start was playing dirty. Dank was throwing spy pills everywhere in their own base, and dropping them in the yard as well. Also pilling the flag when our offense got it out. Pretty cool bud...Not to mention your medics were infecting our scouts the whole round and when my offensive guys had enough of your bullshit, they started retaliating, and then you have the nerve to tell us to fuck off in MM1. You have a pretty mature group there, I hope people will take note of how your clan plays, and prepares for the worst. They also like to throw mirv after mirv at your respawns, as they did to us in round 1.
I refuse to dispute the match on the grounds that my guys retaliated, but I want the community to know that you guys have no business playing the way you did. And I also will take pride in knowing that we would have won if we had not lost 2 players at the beginning.

that was some of the worst sportsmanship I have seen in a match in a long, long time.. as a matter of fact, I will venture to say it was the worst since I played CNBL in OGL four years ago.. it is matches like this that make me wonder where all the good guys went in TFC..

Well let me say I did view both rounds of this match. And the major difference in the rounds came down to style of play and sportsmanship. Rnd 1 was tough, hard fought and tight match.....with OC getting a 1 cap advantage. But then came Rnd 2 and OC pretty much went llama the entire match. Taking advantage of a couple of our players dropping and O v O, spamming doorway leaving their own base with spy pills, pills in the yard, spy kniving the medics in the back.......list goes on and on. Add in the mouthing of Dank and Taz, this match had no good points. I just hope other clans OC plays in the future have a chance to view our match demos and prepare for the worst......because OC brings the worst in TFC play to the table. That crap will come back around to you in a match 1 day OC I have no doubt!!!!!!!

Your offense played just like ours. When you play a HW infront of your respawn, expect the worse. Thats the way it works. We are not going to go light on him because he is infront of your respawn. We also got a kick out of your offensive demoman planting det packs everywhere, and then starts saying shit in mm1 to a medic that shot him while planting a detpack in the yard.
Yes, I am going to spam my flag when it is in danger. When the flag is on my route on the way otta my base, I will toss my spy pills on it and I will throw a mirv on it. You aren't gonna get a free ride back to your base with the flag.
If your team doesn't like this type of "sportsmanship" than maybe you don't belong in competition.

I thought i'd join in on the fun here... I don't know who started what where and when... All i know is that once it starts it inevitably gets worse and worse and everyone blames everyone else. If you haven't had this happen to you before in a match, then you haven't played TFC for very long. One pot shot can lead to a complete llamafest... it happened, it happens, I'd hardly say that we were the worst sportsmen ever... hardly. Anyway, I didn't see who started it all and i haven't reviewd the demos (it was a bad enough experience one time through) all i know is that all of a sudden i was being mirved mid yard by a demoman, then blown up by detpacks, etc... so I started killing the demoman on your team every time i saw him in the yard i was pissed yeah... if you spec me first person you'll see that i only ever shot the demoman because i thought he was the one causing all the shit... anyway i had fun, but that's prolly more cause we won... losing tends to bring out the bitches in all of us.
Look forward to playing you again... no hard feelings here.

Personally I blame the map, and I would imagine that a lot of clans had a crappy time on Monday. Any time you place the respawn out in the main choke point of the map there's going to be trouble... stray (or aimed ones, if there's a defender standing in front of it) are bound to hit the outgoing offense and get them all pissed. As taz said, one thing leads to another and sooner or later (usually sooner) all things go to hell.
As for you dropping one I honestly didn't notice and after reviewing my demo it happened about 5 or so seconds into the match... pretty much a time when no one it looking at the scoreboard and you're concentrating on getting into position more than anything else. And the guy lagging out... let's be reasonable here, when was the last time you noticed a guy lagged out for an extended period of time on the opposite team? He never dropped (at least in the first 5 minutes that I watched) so we would have no real way of knowing.
Finally, the thing about this match that bugged me personally was your demoman in the yard yelling at me for playing yard D. OK, first of all, there are no rules in STA about yard D, and no it doesn't come under sportsmanship... you play yard D in darkness or trench and no one bats an eyelash. Secondly, I wasn't even playing in the yard... I was a soldier in the battlements who moved forward once our flag was at the front of the base, and I was taking pot-shots at the incoming O. If you guys seriously think that's a problem then I don't know how you've managed to survive as a clan. Maybe you all play on the Phat Farm too much and seem to believe that suddenly all STA matches also go by their rules. Oh, and unless you were running 2 demomen, then that was the same idiot who was laying detpacks in the yard. Nice touch.

Sorry, I just realised something else. Si|verBu||eT, if you lost the first round by a cap, why would you automatically assume you would have won the match had you not dropped a player r2? That makes absolutely no sense.
