NCA over tmp

Wow where to begin. Many thanks to /tmp/ for agreeing to play us on such a fun map as Run. Op2k1 woulda been good but I guess you could say some of us have played a bit much of that map. (for those of you not getting it load the intro screen and see who it gives special thanks to) It'd been a while since we'd had the opportunity to play run and since it was a map that practice wasn't required on we were excited.

Rd1- This round got underway with many deaths and Ikk overflowing. /tmp/ got the early advantage at the Generator and had 8 touches to our 0 to start the match. Ikk eventually rejoined and we started the ever plesant tactical grenading of the flag return point so nobody could get away with the flag including our own team. I got my first touch a little while into the match and fearing for my pride and ego I ran away from 4 angry tmp's waving crowbars claiming they were going to plaster the picture all over catacombs. I jumped into the water with the angry mob hot on my tail. I gave them the slip when I managed to land a conc onto the roof. Getting the all clear from my teammates I jumped down to the docks and we took a 1-0 lead. Infuriated by this /tmp/ busted out the golden crowbars. Whilst we were blinded by the glare that Nx hoe (Nx was only team to beat bP on Run) Slimr used his tactical knowledge to disappear. Dazed and confused we ran around looking for Slimr.!
KingFish was especially maddened because Slimr made Nx practice hide and seek on this map. Well apparently Fish didn't pay attention because nobody could find Slimr as he ran in and capture the flag. /tmp/ still enraged that I managed to escape their mob stole the flag from the generator and mocked us with it. They jumped on to the top of the house resupply where I proceded to bitch and moan about him being up there. Sick of hearing me complain my team <b>tmp</b> went insane and decided to kill me while King Nada ran the other direction and capture the flag. Scubacow decided to take matters into his own hands at this point. He grabbed the flag and decided to go for a swim. I was certain of his demise and waited for him to die. Amazingly he was hard 2 kill and was staged with Leeg by the exit to the water pipe. Unforutnatly for us one of the /tmp/ guys was holding the handle and Leeg couldn't get them to open the door for us. Infuriated by this <b>Insurrection</b>!
I summoned the <b>Gods of War</b> and had Scubacow killed. I picked up the flag from the docks and /tmp/ didn't know what hit them. I flew over the warehouse into the water and ran into the generator right in front of 2 of their soldiers. They were awestruck by my skill and speed. BOOYA! King Nada responded by convincing my team to turn on me again. As they were focused on killing me he capped the flag at the docks again despite my pleas to kill the guy on the roof wearing the OTHER color. Leeg was sick of playing second fiddle to me and was determined to show me up for him having to sit because of bad ping back when he was in CwO. I don't know what he did the entire /tmp/ team must have taken a quick beer break or something because Leeg got the next two caps to give us a 1 cap lead. The last 5 minutes of the round we had a campfire on the bridge and talked about how the Ducks suck and should not have beaten the Red Wings.

Rd2- Well this round we tried something differnt. Deciding that RepairMan sucked worse than Daisho at hwguy on Run (67/67 Kill/Death Rd1 even worse on the scoreboard) we equipped Ikk with the assult cannon. KingFish had satisfied his taste for vengence early in the round it would seem because NCA had taken a very quick 2-0 lead. The first cap was your basic pick it up run and score. The second one i scored and had I not decided to score I could probably still be running around with the flag. /tmp/ immediatly saw me jump to the roof so I jumped to the water. I conced out of the water and onto the bridge only to be shot at again. I jumped back to the water but they saw that and I managed to back track.... the long and the short of it is I ended up under the spiral for 30 seconds or so. Eventually I asked if it was clear and I heard someone say something about the entire /tmp/ team being at the docks. They really got confused somehow and I think they thought I was goi!
ng to cap it at the docks again, because the trip to the generator was uneventful. (You'll have to was the demo pure comedy!) Anyhow Fish got bored and since the golden crowbar mob didn't work they busted out the Platinum crowbar mob. /tmp/ struggled with the platinum crowbars for a while and when that was unproductive they busted out their secret weapons. The titanium crowbars. Shocked and awed our puny little bronze crowbars turned into copper and we were beaten into the ground. /tmp/ scored 3 in a row and the match was now tied! With 3 minutes left Leeg said ok solo you've had your fun this round now it's my turn. Leeg scored the go ahead cap with 1:30 left, after that it was everyone pile on the flag! Unfotunatly some people on our team thought that meant free for all and started attacking our teammates with the flag to get it. Leeg took advantage of the angry heavy classes and while our teams heavies dm'd each other he ran away with the flag. Desperate for th!
e cap /tmp/ tried to flood the return and get one in real quick so like Leeg got another cap where the entire /tmp/ team wasn't in his way with 3 seconds left. Props to Jaska who had 125 frags this round!

Was a great match tmp. Sorry my writeup is long and sucky and a pisspoor attempt at humor. The fact that it's so stupid is the joke!
