Title Match, -DT- vs |FoE|
Round 1
Match started off on DT's server and from the start it was obvious that DT was hungry. We had been denied the copper title twice while in that division, and we were hungry for a title to call our own. Every once in a while, it seems one of our O guys just wakes up, and everything clicks. It seems that for this match, several of our O guys just seemed to wake up at the same time, and while Unforeseen lead the charge, Auto wasn't far behind. From what I am told, Unforeseen spent more time at the enemy cap point then the defenders did. This round turned into a scoring demonstration as several FoE members left early.
Score: DT ? 290, FoE ? 30
Round 2
We all piled into FoE's server and expected things to take off where we left them in round 1. We were wrong. Foe was able to slow the scoring hemorrhage, but the sacrifice was to their own offensive effort. Even with the increased number of defenders, we were still able to pound 9 more caps in. Round 2 ended up looking like a slower and smaller version of round 1.

Final: DT ? 380, FoE ? 40
It is so easy to get frustrated when you get outscored early in the first round. A true test of character is how you weather those storms. I hope |FoE| becomes stronger for this experience, and becomes a better clan for it. GG

I can't help but remember a conversation I had with Blades after the match on IRC where he was talking about his experiences being a battlements solder in round 1, where he sees a sniper in the battlements with him. He kills him thinking that he is a spy trying to sneak in. Turns out he just TK'd a teammate, who really was a sniper. It was about this time that he realized the match had gone to shit.

we've all been in that situation where you know you don't have a prayer of pulling out of the hole so you just go with it and let loose. I think FOE handled that better than some other clans we played, at least there was no mm1 swearing at us and calling us 'faggots' and all. They may have lost the match but they maintained their dignity. GG and may we meet again :)
