OpM over SNAFU
tonight we faced off against SNAFU, a clan we've never played before. we did the usual last minute scramble of "omfg, somebody show up quick so we'll have 9 ffs". we lucked out, and piled into our server. unfortunately, SNAFU was destined to play both rounds with 8 people (we offered to drop one, but was told to not worry about it. pretty classy move from SNAFU, gg).
round 1 started off pretty evenly, with both teams capping pretty much in concert. the SNAFU O got its groove going, and started pulling away. SNAFU eventually won r1 rather handly.
after some mid-round grumbling about how much we suck, we moved some players around. every so often, we play well enough to give us hope we'll finally figure this amazing game out, and that's what happened in r2. the O got going pretty much immediately, and built up and great head of steam. the D also tightened up nicely, limiting SNAFU's offense to 4 caps.
a nice come back win for us against a classy SNAFU clan.
