DT over KoR
DT vs KoR
Dodge This versus Knights of Rage. One question: Where was the RAGE in round 1? I almost wished they had said uncle, and we could have called it a night. But KoR stuck with it, and turned it around.
Round One:
KoR has been around for a bit longer than DT has. They are approaching their 200th match where we are about to celebrate our 100th next week. We met once before a little over a year ago, and lost to their excellent team. I was hoping that this time around, we would enjoy a fiercely challenging match. Instead I started to watch the reports trickle in. 10-0 DT, 20-0 DT, 30-0 DT, 40-0 DT. It was a massacre. During half time I asked if KoR played a clean match, and Auto responded: <DT-Auto> i barly[sic] even saw their offy[sic] <DT-Auto> i was like.. where is the other team?
SCORE: DT ? 80, KoR ? 0
Round Two:
KoR clawed back. They did it by moving their D up to deny our O paths to the flag, and they did it with simple confusion and misdirection with their O. Their spy had our team so nervous that our D found themselves killing each other repeatedly. After the match Quasar was quoted as saying: <DT-QuaSar> spy! <DT-QuaSar> omfg, that spy is building an sg <DT-QuaSar> boom!
SCORE: DT ? 30, KoR ? 30
FINAL: DT ? 110, KoR ? 30
Good job on the mid-match break. You used it for exactly what it was meant for. Examine the first round, and make winning changes in your strategy. Where other newer clans may have given up, or gotten so frustrated that the match would have turned into a llama fest, you guys hung in there, stuck with it, and managed to make it interesting in the second round. Good Game, KoR!
