DT over KoB

Dodge This over Krazy old Bastards

Wow, this one had us on eggshells when we were approaching the match. KoB has several guys who define TFL, and this is going to be their first true impression of us as a clan. Although the league tries to be democratic in how it operates, playing against guys who can remove you from the league at a whim is another story.

Round 1:
We all piled into their server. Great pings all around, and an HLTV server connected that would make HBO jealous we were definitely impressed. But that didn't stop us from playing the game we came to play. This was our first 2A match, and we wanted to make an impression, and we did. We took the lead early and held on tight.

Round 2:
Oh shit, this is where it usually falls apart. We make an excellent showing first round, then fumble the ball in the second half. We did it on Monday against 46&2, and history has a way of repeating. Sure enough, the round starts, and KoB shows their stuff, and takes an early lead. Amazingly, our D decides to lock down our base, which is no easy feat in Crazy_Monkey_L, and nearly shuts down KoB's offense. Our O puts on another capping demonstration, and we come out with a great win against a great clan in a great league against a bunch of great guys!

Final Thoughts:
Call me superstitious, but playing a clan with Krazy in the name on a map with Crazy in the name didn't look very promising for us. This was a a great welcome into 2A, with an impressive win against the guys who pretty much run the league (in our eyes anyways). I am only worried that we may have outdone ourselves, and those sneaky KoB/TFL admin guys will put us on the fast track to 1A. GG KoB! It was fun playing with ya!
