RA over Nx^

I might actually look forward to the next match on bloodtube after this close game. I would like to take this moment and claim full credit for going against all odds and actually getting over 7!! (!!) RA people to ovd this map beforehand to get a decent d strat. Anyway, onto the epic IGL Premier title match details.

Round 1 started really slow as people realized anything other than running straight with grenades primed Al Qaeda style would be futile against the evil server lag. Slowly RA offense adjusted to the jerkiness and through massive kamikazing began to capture some flags, pretty much keeping pace with Nx on the other side of things. I made kl cry when he tried to explain where the flag was over comms and I said I didn't know what the fuck he was saying (sorry m8 ffs bloke :E number klshouse). RA decided to let phan be a gigantic grenade magnet as defensive engy while Nx stuck in an extra soldier for their defense. All in all things seemed equal, as RA pulled a final second cap to tie it at 90-90.

Round 2 on ReconGamer was faster paced, as people slowly realized they could bhop smoothly without the server jerking them backwards a few steps. Same strats on both sides, but the offenses seemed to have their way instead this time. I have to give "mad props" to mighty KingMangos aka qu dealing out "the pain" as our o soldier. Also I can't forget Stryder playing d demoman for us... Who only agreed to play if everyone said we love him and really appreciate him being there for us in our moment of need. Anyway........... More caps and yelling on comms lead us down to a tie game and about a minute left. Will RA get the last second cap?????//// No.. it was not to be, as I left our spawn to see 4 hwguys on our cap point defending a flag two feet away. As we sulked into IRC dreading OT, I tried to remind the troops that if situations were reversed, we probably would've used 12 hwguys to defend that final flag. So... 140-140 that round.

SUP OT?? So RA figured we were going to do this elite offense rush and cap in 8 seconds, but qu and kl telefragged and everything was ruined. Fortunately, qu still got a quick toss out the window, and after some more flag throwing, kaww got fragged midair with the flag at the bridge and it fell into the murky depths of the green bloodtube slime. Thankfully, I was wallhacking and dived into the water to grab the flag and conc out to victory with the sudden death cap. As clean a game as you can get on bloodtube probably, considering RA was involved. gGz,
