Another great match against (!)
Seems like we always have some good battles with the exclamation point team. Great job everyone.
First round starts off with some quick touches by our offense but no cap. After getting in some good runs, our offense finally breaks through the spam and pulls one out. (!) locks down their D and we lock down ours. We had lots of touches...but the (!) D held on strong. It seemed right around the same time, we both managed to sneak one out from each other. The round ends with us up by only 1.
Round 2 came and we had to make some adjustements. Offensively we needed some more...and defensively our demo left. So, after a bit we head in and attempt to hold on for the win. Well, (!) must not have gotten the message that they were supposed to lose...because they took the first lead. It almost seemed like the rounds were exactly the opposite. They capped first...and we were fighting to get back into it. Luckily...with under 5 minutes left...we both capped at the same time...to bring us to a tie.
Overtime came...and another new face...Metal. Faced with the dilemma of putting him in...because he's such a newb...I took the chance. And just like last time...he pulled magic out of his hiney and was able to give us the cap. Thanks Met.
