CD over WoV
We had the oppurtunity to play one of the classiest clans of all time tonight. The Warlords of Virtue have always played a stright up clean and fun game, tonight was no diferent.
The 1st round was played on our home server and WoV outpinged us :/
The match started out slow, both teams got the lasers down on the first rush, but our D was able to keep the flag in the flag room and our O managed to pull out the 1st cap. WoV wiggled a flag loose and their 1st cap cut our lead to 3-1.
The Warlords kept me so busy on D, I didn't even notice that our O had been pulling a steady stream of caps. When WoV capped their 3rd, I thought the round was tightening up. When I looked, though, we had a 10-3 lead at that point.
The final for the round was 13-4.
The 2nd round was played on the WoV home server, where we were outpinged again :/
This round, CD did something for the first time in our 4 year history, we switched our O and D players. So, we had 5 D playing O and 4 O playing D. The way the round turned out, I think we are going to make our O play D more often. Our 4 man O/D held the WoV O to only 2 caps this round. In the meantime our 5 man D/O had the WoV D on the run most of the round and grabbed 11 caps.
