TTK over HOP

Well...our first match back...since we took a couple of weeks off. We moved down to Platinum as we lost 10 guys to...various things. With a brand new cast and brand new faces...it was a great first match back.

First round starts with an HOP demo detpacking our respawn. As prematch winds down, 3 of us spawn at the top...only to die by a detpack that went off 2 seconds after prematch. So...we're off...down a man nonetheless. (Imagine that...we're already having roster problems. LOL!) We did manage to take the scout rush and cap the first flag though...so we did have a lead. In fact, we were able to sustain the lead for most of the round. The last 10 minutes brought some good, strong rushes by the HOP offense though...and we found ourselves struggling to hold our flag. HOP managed to break us down and take the first round.

The second round brought out a few changes. With 4 guys on offense, we were able to keep a constant pressure on the HOP defense. Mixing it up between water and the ramp/ele...we seemed to keep them off balance. HOP's offense again started out a little slow. Halfway through the round though, they started to pick up the pace and pull out our flag. Our defense held on though...and we were successful in our first match back.

Great job HOP.
