tM over SoL

Well. . . we're the last to report this week, because we're the last to PLAY this week. See folks, it all goes back to Al Gore and his fathering of the Interwebnetworldwide. Somewhere in his amazingly flawed gene pool, we were graced with the most devilish of his dna. . . a thing that we so lovingly call Lag. Yes, it hit us tonight, it hit both our servers and delayed our match some 40 minutes. None daunted we both fielded 9 and when the pings settled down (we blame TicketMaster and an Nsync concert. . . ) we began.

r1: Well this round started off with both sides beyond primed and slightly dozing off as we waited for pings to settle down. It was a fast and furious round as we all beat down each other. Some friendly mm1 bantered between myself and leper. All in all a great round both teams had fun. Round ends 90-60 tM.

r2: I sorta lied, the lag dna didn't seem to work itself out of their server as 75% of tM couldn't see their server, so they agreed to another round on ours (again we love them for this.) and it was as if they were possessed. They hit us fast and hard and before we knew what was happening SoL had tied up the game. Luckily though we got our heads back on straight and we locked down a bit. We pulled a few caps and regainedo our lead of 3, but SoL was none daunted. They had tasted victory and wanted more. Again they pulled a flag despite some of our best effort to stop them. We answered, but they seemed to laugh at us. . . it was quite scary really. They were catchig up at the end, but we had another cap at the same time. The round ended 70-50 SoL.

So we go back to IRC, and after our Math major in tM (Fireball) remembered that 3 points is more than 2 points we won and here I am, submitting scores. Outstanding game SoL. WE LOVE YOU!
