TFCC over HOP

Umm... wow. What a match. Both clans started off down a man in round one, going with 5d/3o. A ninth arrived for both at about the same time, and then things started to get a little hairier. TFCC managed a single cap when Mitsu conced to the point, which turned out to be the margin of victory.

After 20 minutes, we finally started round two on TFCC's server. TFCC had a full 9, but HoP was down to seven. With under a minute remaining in the prematch, HoP declared that this was not live. We were surprised, and said that it was. As prematch ended, HoP countered that they had the right to demand one restart - that it was in the rules. Match started with them still saying 'not live' and us still saying 'live'. I said on mm1 that I was pausing the server to check the rules; we did, and one of HoP's people unpaused it, so play continued. TFCC capped about six or seven times on the reduced HoP defense, at which point most of them left. The remaining two players wanted to keep playing to try and get a cap -- to the point of switching to our side and TKing our defense -- but it never happened.

Turns out, there IS no rule about restarts, but there is one about break being only 10 minutes. There is also a rule tht the config can't be changed, which TFCC did in order to pause the match and check those rules... but we shouldn't have changed the config at all, period. Because of that, the Rd2 score of 300-0 got thrown out. Rd1 stood, though, and that was the final score.

TFCC's CAL comment: " We're here to have some fun; we show up on time, follow the rules, and demonstrate respect for our opponents (until they prove they don't deserve it). We don't care about how elite we are... or about how elite anyone else thinks they are. Let's play some TFC! " For any1's info, the only thing true about this statement is, ummm, well, nothing. They dont show respect, they dont play for fun, and they dont follow the rules just to name a few. hmmm, wonder if they forgot this statement when playing us.
