c over TDA
Once upon atrocity, tap dat ass played catalyst on an offensive nightmare. I was afraid at first, I pleaded with Virus for an alternate. However the only option that was offered was rawr. As compelling as that may be, playing on a map made by the other clan does not sound too friendly.
We start, our server since we have hltv all set up and ready to go. TDA uses a very forward Defense which we had to adjust to, once we did, we racked up 60 points. In the last few moments of the struggle, the clan formally known as the dark angels snagged two caps from the mysterious midget. The battle ends at 60-30, catalyst privailing.
Round2: Back to our beloved server hosted by none other than the best ventriloquist in Northern Ireland, RoVa. The round starts off slowly. Gradually, the offense stomps on that pad and racks up points in intervals of fifteen. The score reached around 105 before TDA was able to cap. During this round TDA had spurts of potshotting our flagrunner, and at a few moments I seem to recall one of their defensive soldiers playing on our battlements. However, dispite all this funk, catalyst maintained the lead. The round ended 135 to 45. Overall was 195-75. This was a very good game, well played and all that sort of stuff. Coming back to IRC, I see many complaints by TDA members about how shitty the map was even though I gladly offered a map change because lord knows that I would rather play naked twister with the golden girls than play dragonfire. I can't agree with you more, old buddy. c^ did not make teleports, c^ did not make the map, and c^ did not put the map in the rotation. I also recall killing EvilDead's teleport numorous times. Saying that the teleporters is the reason we won is absurd (if that is what you are saying) because TDA had a teleport in the exact same place as we did.

Oh and conversely, If you played us on a map that you've played more, you would have won because we have less clan experience and less practice on it? So why do we even play matches, it should just be based on who practiced the most. Make a little timer saying how much each clan practiced, and whoever has the most time wins. ... yes, the map sucks and its craptastic design allowed you to use a skill-less strategy. Not having no-build zones in a map's spawns is inexcusable and it's something that leagues should deal with. (I don't suppose any of you have paid attention to Valve's additions to all of their maps: you can't build teles where the enemy can't kill them, spawns.) How Chem ever thought that having a single choke point would work is beyond me.
Tell me that clang-clanging a sg, having two/three soldiers in a position where one (skilled one) would have worked, and using a mediocre hwguy that can spam/die/be back in his position in seconds is skillful. Hell, trained apes could have played that strat effectively.

As for sticking around a few years.. Half this team has been playing tfc longer than it took you to get out of 4th grade, rabbit. Your maturity showed through when you booted/banned us for calling you on all your excuses. Seems to me if you're such the veteran, you would have known that it takes time and practice to prepare for a new map, and that's something you obviouslly didn't do. That alone shows which team was better this week.
As for the teleporter, yeah, it's a real bitch for the offense to get past. You had your tele in the same spot as ours, yet our O ran the flag so far up your ass you'll be walking with a limp right up until next monday.
Take some advice, rather than make up excuses as to why you lost, take the time and go practice the strat that we used, cuz we ALL know you'll be copying it next week.
To all the good guys in TDA that didn't come up with excuses or find the need to downtalk the better team this week, gg to you. To all the rest, suck a dick and learn some respect. We're not going away anytime soon, so you'll get your chance again.

This is gonna be my last post on the subject.....no more stupid ass comments by anyone please.
Seriously calm down guys. There are alot more posts here from c^ members than us. The match is over, you guys won. Not every match is going to end in a "gg", most of you guys (especially you ELB guys, i know this just as much as you do) should know that by now. I'm sure you've all had these experiences. I know you guys say you just wanted a "gg", but by some of the posts here (as well as the writeup), it appears to be more than that. The "we kicked your ass" / "suck my dick" posts are entertaing.
As Ed said before the TDA vs Zt. match was the exact same thing. TDA beat Zt. on enclave the first time it was played. Zt. didnt like their strat and a gg wasn't given. Didn't bother them. TDA kept playing and competing. Thats all there was to it.
I understand this is your first big win, so gj. But to be taken seriously you have to constantly compete and prove yourselves to be more than just a "flavor of the month" clan
(especially since you guys have only been together barely 2 months). EVERY CLAN, NOT JUST c^ HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS, IT ISN"T A PERSONAL INSULT. The caps are to emphasize i'm not picking on you guys durrrr.
Once again i was not in the match, so i really don't know, nor really care about what happened. Yes, we never practice and most of the time struggle to field 9...especially of late since we have had to forefit 2 of our last 5 matches. Do we expect pity? No. We can't take back the 2 losses due to forefit or any match we dont practice for. We weren't prepared for the map, we lost, you beat us fair and square regardless of whatever kind of strat was used.
In closing, a few of our team didn't like the map/strat. Thats all there is to it, i don't know why you guys are so upset over that. If we aren't happy with a match we aren't gonna say gg, and we don't expect you or any opposing team to say gg to us if you didn't enjoy a match with us. Why put up a false front? No one in TDA is going around saying c^ sucks or anything like that. And if you are upset at the channel kick, that's just silly. Anways, gl in the top leagues, i'll try to be around next time our teams play. Lets let this die now please.

I want to get this out and then I promise I won't come back to this anymore. Call me or anyone else on our team assholes if you'd like for defining the word comraderie and sticking up for eachother and our team. Yes, we've enjoyed knocking leetist players off of their pedestal who think their shit doesn't stink and can't accept losing to a team most of them have never heard of. No harm intended ED, but when you beat Zt I'm sure you felt great and terrible at the same time that you got no respect. Why would you turn around some odd years later and treat another up and coming clan the exact way you were treated knowing the harsh feeling you once received?
