wow, an OT win, NICE!
Round1, GOO piles into our server, which is acting fine. Ready for a great night of TFC, we quickly remembered that it IS difficult to cap on this map. Scores were 0-0 for first 15 minutes, then back to back caps for each team. 15-15, but Fx didn't let up there. oh no, 15-30, 15-45, 15-60!@# Never thought they'd stop, but eventually ... they did. GOO got back on their feet and brought home another one, to make the first round loss less embarrasing. Round ends, and we're confident we can make it up in rd2.
Rd2 starts. BAM GOO gets 2 caps w/in first 10 mins, while our D stonewalls their Offenses every attempt. Play continues on for 15 more mins peacefully, until their engy gets angry with my destruction of their O teleporter. Nope, not in my yard =D. Potshotting against me ensues, and I have fun with it. Round ends with nothing else imporant happening.
Round3, OT BABY! GOO gets ready to dig in, running a full 5d/4o, standard style. But wait, badFISH's steam dies and we're down to 8. GOO, with 8, decides to go 5/3, instead of 4/4. Fx, seeing we're down one, sends an extra guy O to make it tough. Our Defense dealt with it like professionals, while Sib managed to squeeze into their flag room for the winning Overtime cap!
Great game Fx! Looking forward to it again in the future. Note: Last time GOO played Fx, we won Darkness by ONE cap (32-30). Great games with these fellas. GG!
