/tmp vs AGT ? STA Platinum *Title Match*
Oh for crying out loud! What is the world coming to when an old washed up clan like /tmp wins the Top Title in STA. Yes, we know they combined Titanium and Platinum and this Title may be short-lived, but damnit! it IS an accomplishment!
The Agency were stellar opponents and treated us to a very intense and fun match. Round 1 started off full of action with /tmp and AGT trading caps till about half-way in. Then that?s when the /tmp Defense went into shutdown mode. From there on out the /tmp defense of Dr, Yohan, Terry_Bogard, and FUBAR returned 4 flags all the while the /tmp offense gathered momentum and pulled away. Kersk, King Nada, ThePanther, and Schtoofa swarmed the AGT defense to pull out 9 flags! Round 1 ends 90-40 /tmp.
Round 2 there was much excitement in the air?we made some well earned substitutions, looks like AGT did the same. Our only D sub was Stiffy in for Terry_Bogard (fondly referred to as Lizzie). Offense saw Schtoofa staying in to lead the rest of the /tmp offense of GreenBudz (recently back from knee surgery ? get well Budz!), Osiris, and Necrobrain. Yes, I said Necrobrain, the laggy ass 56k-er called upon to play emp slinging O engie. This round AGT changed up their defense a bit and really made it tough on the /tmp offense. Eventually they adjusted and started to squeak out some caps. The /tmp defense kept AGT shut out for all but the last 5 mins. Kudos to them for pulling out 2 quick ones at the end of the round! Round 2 ends 40-20 /tmp.
/tmp has come a long way in its four years of competing in TFC. We?ve continued to have fun and remain competitive and even win every now and then! It?s a great feeling to have worked our way up the ranks?having earned the Silver, Gold, and now Platinum title. Special dedication to our founder and former leader: Thuggee Ali, for setting this idea of a ?clan? in motion. Special recognition to the leaders of /tmp that have helped to be a part of this milestone: Fog, Larcain, King Nada, Keymaster, Dr, and Stiffy, and most of all?thanks to the members of /tmp. YOU are the reason that this game is still fun today.

I'd like to add that tmp would be long since dead if it were not for the hard work of Yohan. He has done all the boring administrative stuff pretty much all by himself for quite a while. Stiffy has helped him recently but since the departure of Thuggee into real life, Yohan has been the life blood of tmp.
The rest of leaders are nothing of the sort. We just nod approvingly when Yohan does the things that need be done.
